Meet Dr. Kuba

Meet Dr. Kuba

Dr. Reena Kuba, DDS, MS

Dr. Reena Kuba received her Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.  She then earned her DDS degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas, Texas.  While at Baylor, she also completed her certification in Pediatric Dentistry in addition to a Master of Science in Oral Biology.  She is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  She also currently works part-time as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Kuba is a native Dallas-ite.  A self-proclaimed salsa connoisseur, she enjoys Tex-Mex and spicy Thai food.  She can often be found with her nose in a People magazine or in a good book.  If you miss an episode, Dr. Kuba can most likely update you on the recent happenings on American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, or the Amazing Race.  She also loves Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm re-runs.  Dr. Kuba enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures, which is why she chose a “world” theme for the office.  Above all, aside from Pediatric Dentistry, she is passionate about spending time with her husband and family.

When Dr. Kuba started dental school, she had a job working as a general dentist assistant. When she started school she set her sights on becoming a general dentist. More than anything, she knew with a great amount of certainty that she would not be specializing in Oral Surgery or Pediatrics. She says “No one was more surprised than me when I realized I loved Pediatrics!” In fact, Dr. Kuba now helps teach the Introduction to Pediatric Dentistry class at TAMU College of Dentistry, which is the very same course that made her fall in love with the specialty. She is grateful each day for all the rewards that come with working with children & their families. Her favorite part is ” watching these babies grow up” and she hopes that she can make a difference in their health and their outlook  towards dentistry.

Dr. Kuba has been named one of D Magazine’s “Best Dentists in Dallas, 2011 and 2014.”
